A Better Me Juicery is Open in Downtown Cranford

CRANFORD, N.J. — Downtown Cranford has welcomed a new juice and smoothie bar to the neighborhood. The new establishment is located at 4 Eastman Street inside the short-lived Fettle Market, which closed earlier this year. The new storefront across the street from the popular Eastman Clock Plaza Park is owned and managed by a former employee of the Market.

“I had previously sold my juices at Fettle Market and was so excited to have the opportunity to then open my own business,” said owner Leonisse Rodriguez. “Come chill and grab some juices, smoothies, fruits salads and soooo much more!!!”

Rodriguez went to school for exercise science and nutrition and discovered she had a passion for juicing and helping people feel their best, she explained in a Downtown Cranford blog post.

When asked what her favorite menu items are, Rodriguez pointed to the Pure Greens juice and Coqui Verde smoothie.

Besides being a familiar face from her days at Fettle Market, Rodriguez was also a trainer at the F45 gym on North Union Avenue where she taught fitness classes.

At 25 years old, Rodriguez is proud of her entrepreneurial spirit and is grateful to be taking the reins of one of the Township’s newest businesses.

“Cheers 🥂 cheers to believing, having faith, cheers to opening up my first bussiness. I’ve dreamed about this for a long time, I truly feel like I am still dreaming 💭” she posted on Instagram.
