GARWOOD, N.J. — Lidl cut the ribbon at its newest grocery store location in August on South Avenue inside the former Pathmark location. The grand opening celebration included special offers and gifts for the first 100 customers.
“I am proud to welcome Lidl to Garwood at a location that is one of the main entrance points to our town,” said Garwood Mayor Sara Todisco in a report posted on the Clark-Garwood Patch.
The Garwood Lidl includes a “Welcome to Garwood” sign at the shopping center’s entrance near the Cranford borderline.
The store is Lidl’s 20th location in New Jersey.
