(WESTFIELD, NJ) After a number of delays, Lions Roar Brewing Company has announced it will open to the public on February 5.
“Finally, we can open these doors for you guys! We are very excited. It’s been a long journey,” said Co-Owner Corinne Grant in a video message posted on social media. “We can’t do the big ol’ hoopla grand opening that we want, but, we will when we can. Consider this our dry run.”
Lions Roar Brewing Company, located at 517-519 South Avenue West, will be taking reservations on their website for the foreseeable future, explained its Owners.
“Due to demand, we figured this would be the best way to do opening weekend and beyond (or at least until we can operate at full capacity)!”
Originally, Lions Roar Brewing Company had hoped to open in 2019, but the brewery was stymied for a number of reasons, including the arrival of COVID-19 in March.
The Downtown Westfield Corporation posted a Bernie meme, arguably the most memorable and memorialized moment from the 2021 presidential inauguration, to help gin up excitement for the winter opening.
