Area Gyms Reopen with COVID-19 Restrictions

In another sign that some things may be returning to normal after the COVID-19 crisis swept through the nation, New Jersey gyms reopened with restrictions on September 1.

“With colder months ahead, use gym memberships to get out of the house and allow for selfcare,” explained Adam Pantastico, the owner of Studio Fit in Westfield. “Our facility is safe and ready to be put to use.”

Governor Phil Murphy said protocols include 25% capacity, group fitness classes limited to one person per 200 feet and six feet of distance between workout equipment.
