So, you may have missed the official Pi(e) Day on March 14 {ask your math teacher}, but, starting today, locals can always rely on picking up a delectable pie at Dreyer Farms in Cranford.
“We are open!” proclaimed the Township’s last working farm on Day 1 of the 2019 season. “We have missed you all.”
The landmark market is back with its famous baked goods {including green mini donuts for St. Patrick’s Day weekend}, fresh produce, wine, honey and other locally-sourced meat and dairy products.
Dreyer Farms also provides area residents with a popular Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) box program. Now in its 8th year, the 27-week membership gives participants a weekly supply of fresh of produce to pickup at their Springfield Avenue location.
“Our 2019 CSA signups are filling up,” warned the Dreyer Farms team.
To help woo members even more quickly, those who sign up before March 20th get additional perks, including a 30 minute consultation with their in-house health coach and access to their partner farm, Wightman Farms.
In addition to multiple CSA plans that come in a variety of sizes, they now offer a weekly flower share.
