Darby Road Offers Irish Fare, Music at Annual St. Pat’s Festival in Scotch Plains

Got corned beef and cabbage?

Darby Road Public House certainly does! And, they will be dishing out the classic Irish-American combo at its 6th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival on Park Avenue. Darby’s much-loved version comes as a platter and includes potatoes and carrots.

The free, three-day festival will also include Irish music, Irish dancing and kid-friendly activities during the day like face painting, pony rides and a bounce house.

“We have giveaways all weekend. Live bands, including Billy Wilkins on Friday night! Come join us for our biggest event yet,” said the pub’s owners. “Looking forward to a great celebration!”

50/50 raffles will benefit the Scotch Plains Police Athletic League (PAL) and St. Bartholomew Church, according to Darby Road’s website.

The festival runs March 16 from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., March 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. and March 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
