Jimmy Buff’s in Kenilworth, internationally known for inventing Italian-style Hot Dogs, has earned a spot on nj.com’s new Best Hot Dog Joint showdown poll. The local Boulevard institution joined 49 other semifinalists that will vie for the top spot in the Garden State.
“THANK YOU FOR VOTING! JIMMY BUFF’S KENILWORTH & WEST ORANGE MADE IT TO THE SEMIFINALS!” posted Jimmy Buff’s on Facebook in all caps.
The winner of the hot dog showdown will be announced later this Summer.
The original Jimmy Buff’s opened in Newark 1932 and currently has two locations in Kenilworth and West Orange.
