Lions Roar Brewing Co. Sets Eyes on Westfield Brewery Locale

Bottom’s up!

A microbrewery is preparing to open to the public inside the South Avenue West traffic circle building in Downtown Westfield last occupied by the Dirt Beauty Shop. The Lions Roar Brewing Co. will produce craft beers at the facility at 517-519 South Avenue West. The brew team says its mission is to “help you escape the 9 to 5.”

“We are so excited to finally share the news with the community,” said the enthusiastic brewery founders, Corinne and Tim Grant, a husband and wife team from Westfield.

The green light for the establishment was given by the Town’s Planning Board on Monday night, a first step in what can be a lengthy process to obtain permits.

“Breweries can take 6 months to a year to open, mostly because of the long approval process to get our state and federal licensing,” said Corinne Grant.

To gear up for its opening {hopefully in 2019!!!}, the brewery has already established its logo,  website and social media channels.
