In the wake of the pandemic shutdown and Black Lives Matter protests across the nation, Pinkie’s Cupcake Cafe on Washington Avenue is enjoying some newfound advertising exposure on what would typically be pricey billboards along major Garden State highways and other busy locales.
“So grateful and proud to be on Outfront Media Billboards all over NJ in conjunction with BLM!!!!,” posted the owners of the Kenilworth bakery that opened in 2020.
The push to publicize local establishments is part of Outfront Media’s initiative to provide no to low cost billboards for areas reopening from COVID-19 shutdowns and to help bring awareness to the “Black Businesses Matter” campaign.
