For the first time ever, Darby Road Pub hosted an outdoor beer garden on Friday, Saturday and Sundays in August! Let’s hope it returns!
The beer garden utilized the green space on Park Avenue between the Pub and the Township Municipal Building, the same place the establishment hosts its popular St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Festival. Like the pub itself, both the seasonal beer garden and the St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Festival are family friendly affairs and full of activities.
The Darby Road Beer Garden featured a craft beer festival and a Kan Jam challenge fundraiser. Funds were also raised for the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Baseball League, St. Bartholomew Academy, Scotch Plains-Fanwood Soccer Association and the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Police Athletic League.
