Spice Bazaar is Open on Westfield’s Quimby Street

There’s a new kid on the block…and she’s packing some heat (spicy sauce that is).

Spice Bazaar offers traditional Indian dishes and delicacies in a causal setting at its Westfield restaurant, diversifying the culinary options in town.

“Our team has created vegetarian and non-vegetarian entrees that will truly wow your senses, along with mouthwatering starters,” says the establishment’s website. “Our tandoori breads are baked to perfection and we have an assorted bread platter to sample a wide variety. We want to celebrate food from India and share it with our guests.”

Prior to opening, owners Kanika Vij and Simran Bakshi assembled a team of executive chefs from prominent four and five-star restaurants, including ones that focus on authentic Indian cuisine, according to the Downtown Westfield Corporation.

The pair also owns the well-loved Spice Mantra in Bergen County.

Spice Bazaar held its Grand Opening (in the space formerly occupied by Asian Fusion) in November of 2017.
