Since this Summer, Teen Assistant, the popular Westfield-based service that pairs neighborhood teenagers and area residents who need help with odd jobs, has been under the direction of new leadership. In August, teen-founder Brendan Cox (who’s off to college) handed over the reins to a fellow Westfield High School student.
“Meet Tommy Tardibuono, a driven teen who is ready to take on the challenge of running this local business,” posted Cox with a picture of he and Tardibuono shaking hands.
Teen Assistant has made a name for itself in the area for providing a cost effective way to hire part-time help, all while giving its teen staff valuable work experience. Cox says he has great admiration for all of his hometown clients and the teens who took on the responsibility to accept the jobs.
“I just want to thank the community for supporting Teen Assistant over the past two years,” said Cox. “I also want to give a shout out to my amazing staff for their hard work and dedication.”
Teen Assistant specializes in yard work, leaf cleanup, snow shoveling, moving, assembling furniture, party set-up and breakdown, tutoring and even gift wrapping.
