Addams Tavern, the popular Downtown Westfield restaurant sidelined by a Judge’s order in 2017, is now back in business.
In fact, the establishment was open for lunch on December 13, exactly one year since its closure on December 13, 2017, according to the Downtown Westfield Corporation.
The reopening had social media buzzing, with some posting photos inside the restaurant for the first time.
In order to reopen, the restaurant had to undergo a major construction project that included the addition of new support beams throughout the facility. Management gave Westfield Area’s Local Dish a tour of the nearly completed renovation in November.
Addams Tavern was opened with fanfare by the Harvest Restaurant Group in 2016.
