After announcing their intentions to move into Downtown Westfield in the Fall of 2018, work has finally begun at the newest Bareburger locale. When it opens, the popular New York City burger chain will occupy a portion of the empty Coldwater Creek space that once encompassed the entire building at the corner of Central Avenue and Quimby Street.
The Downtown Westfield Corporation says its unsure when the business will open, but will keep the community posted as it finds out more.
Plans for the site reportedly include rooftop dining and a bar.
Bareburger, recognized for its eco-minded ways, organic burgers (from beef to bison) and adult beverages, already operates New Jersey locations in Montclair, Hoboken, Ridgewood and Edgewater.
