While many in the retail industry are facing tough decisions about how to adapt to the disruption created by online competition and the likes of Amazon, one Westfield establishment is happily bucking that trend. Opened in town in 2017, Midtown Authentic has recently moved into a new larger space across the block from their original location.
“We’re open!!!” trumpeted the store’s new Instagram handle @midtownauthenticnj on August 16 with a photo of their bright pink awning at their 130 East Broad Street address.
Midtown Authentic was founded by Rory Chadwick in 2009 and specializes in buying and selling designer couture. It also maintains locations in Red Bank and Wyckoff.
The store has scheduled a grand opening celebration on September 14th.
